Yet in modern Western culture, these cycles have been widely misunderstood. They are often medicalized, pathologized, or suppressed in order to fit linear, productivity-driven rhythms that conflict with the body’s natural design.
When cyclical intelligence is ignored or overridden, the body adapts as best it can — often through symptoms that are labeled as “disorders” but are more accurately understood as signals asking for support and integration.
